Mr Joao Gomes for your pleasure…I got a weird email off a Gomes fan in Brazil demanding a Linocut of his favourite player. How could I refuse? I mean I know next to nothing about Gomes so had to delve into the madness of the internet for details mate. Stuff I could get my artistic madness into. I can’t draw or make an image of things I have absolutely no interest in. So what turned into a commission turned into an edition print of 30 prints of which 17 I offer to my friends at Wolves at a much cheaper price than the 14 which have been flown over to Brazil this week. The print is basically a monotype so every one is slightly different but editioned nonetheless. The prints are as always made with recycled or reclaimed inks, paper etc and are packed in biodegradable cellophane sleeves, signed and ready to adorn your wall. The background is colour matched to the Brazilian flag. Gomes flesh is old gold with details in black. Available first come first served. Image is on 350gsm card stock A4
